Make Scratchpad Circle Colors programatic in time
Currently in the scratchpad the colors of the circles indicate "timing" of the last received value. The timing of these colors should be programatic. For example, currently a scratchpad item is green, then turns blue, then grey. The timing for that to happen is internal and may not be what the user wants to present. In some instances, you might want the circle to turn grey after 5 seconds, in others 30 seconds, and so on. For me I would use the grey circle as a visual indicator that a server is not responding, etc. If people use a timer for reporting scratchpad values (as I do in a realtime system with millions of messages a day), I may only update the scratchpad every 30 or 60 seconds, for example. I might only want to turn the circle to grey if the values have not been updated for 120 seconds, indicating a possible problem. Color changes should be able to be controlled by the calling app, or at least via an options panel in the live viewer.
Good suggestion. We’ll take a look at what’s involved and consider it for a future release.
